As one person, with one heart: a public campaign calling on elected officials, the media and the general public to promote respectful, responsible discourse
In light of the challenging times facing the State of Israel, and out of a sense of responsibility for the future of our people and our country, we seek to strengthen unity as a shared foundation of our public life.
We believe that unity is not uniformity, but the ability to hold our disagreements with respect, responsibility and a sense of mutual obligation.
We, elected officials, leaders and citizens of Israel, believe in unity as a fundamental value, and choose to make every effort to place unity in Israel at the top of our priorities.
We commit to remembering that the unity of our people matters more than any passing political gain.
We strive to engage in respectful, substantive and dignified discourse: addressing the issue, not the person or the community they belong to.
We strive to avoid harming anyone's dignity or sense of belonging, and to strengthen mutual responsibility in Israel.
We choose respect.
We choose unity.
Above all political interests.
